Adseal Stripping Solution is a pure, highly effective, solution for stripping off many existing resin coatings ready for re-sealing

 

1. Ensure customers & neighbours doors and windows are closed and that operatives wear suitable safety equipment [see Safety Data Sheets] including boots with chemical resistant soles.

 

2. Wash off area with power washer and allow to dry thoroughly.

 

3. Spray a fine coat of ‘Stripping Solution’ and allow a few minutes for it to start softening the existing resin coating.

 

4. Spray a heavy coat to a 1 metre wide strip and, starting at one end of the strip, brush down the softening resin.

 

5. When brushed to the end of the strip mop up or soak up the resin and solvent and place in a container which should be sealed immediately.

 

6. Proceed onto the next metre wide strip and continue until the whole area has been treated.

 

7. Repeat process if necessary.

 

8. Once completed to a satisfactory standard and whilst still ‘’tacky’ we recommend the application of a low slip additive such as our ‘AdGrip’ [see AdGrip installation instructions].

 

9. Finally, you need to apply a new resin top coat. We would suggest our TRADE which has a lower solids content. The resin should be sprayed on in a THIN coat. On completion if there are any areas that do not have the desired sheen you can apply a further coat of resin to that area.

 

10. The sealed containers should be disposed of by a waste disposal company authorised to handle class 3 products.
